A Few of My Favorite Things

Autumn....this morning the fog was so dense that I couldn't even see the houses across the street. I love the contrast between the fog and the brilliantly colored leaves.

Pho...I've made this recipe four times in the past four weeks. It's a new family favorite, perfect for cold fall evenings...and very easy. (photo credit here) My new favorite t-shirt from my brilliant designer friend, who just opened her Etsy shop yesterday. The mandala design says "believe". I'll tell you that she did not ask me to say anything about her new shop, and I only tell you about it because I really do love the shirt, and because yes...she is my friend! That big, black ball of fluff I'm holding is another of my favorites. Also, I just felt silly posing for a picture all by myself. My kids tell me that I don't take enough pictures of the dog! Really? I think she's made an appearance on this blog with nearly every post since she's come to live with us.

I love the photo of your tree outside the window!

We make pho. One of my friends that I lived with in college was Vietnamese.

I love your favorite things!

We like Pho too, but it never occured to me that I could make it! I tried an Indian dish favorite of ours the other day, Butter Chicken. Although good, nothing like the one at my favorite restaurant.

I've never even HEARD of pho before, but I've loved every recipe I've tried from your blog. :)

And the photo of the tree and the fog is really, really pretty. What a view from your window!

I love the photo of the tree, lol I just mistyped that as tee, which was the next thing I was going to tell you I loved - the photo of you in the beautiful tee. She is so talented, isnt she?

The tree is beautiful! I just love autumn. And pho is one of our favorite soups. But we've never made it at home. I'll have to try it. And that black fluff ball is really adorable!

I have never tried making pho either - you are very clever! Love the dog. Sorry I've been so slack with comments lately, our baby has been teething and has been up ALL evevning just about every evening so computer time has become a rare treat!

Sometimes there are things that if you don't buy them you will regret it forever. There is very little money in our budget right now but I had to have that shirt! It is completely amazing so I popped on over to your friend's esty shop and got me one.

Wow, I didn't know Tara had opened an ETSY shop. Very cool.

I love the photos of your dog. And I love your hair. When did you start growing it out? (I'm probably really late in noticing, huh?)
